Thief!!

Many thanks to dedicated reader Cali369 for bringing this to my attention - a seller on ebay with the hilariously inappropriate name nice1louise is using my photos for her listings. Not cool. I have put in an official complaint to ebay and contacted the seller through ebay. Hopefully these photos will be removed pronto. I haven't used water marked photos so far but this will change from today.

Who cares? How does this harm you?

I'm sorry you feel that way, we obviously have completely different views on intellectual property.

I view this as a theft because not only did I pay for this polish, I also put in a lot of time on the posting and prep of photos and frankly it really pisses me off when people then take my hard work and ideas and use it for their own gain without consulting me.

Well, my parents taught me to share. They also taught me that we all benefit from the exchange of information. You should take it as a compliment that someone thought your pics of a given polish were the nicest ones she found and the most representative of the color. It's not like she's posting them on a blog that would directly compete with yours.

I'll be unsubscribing from your blog. What a shame, I enjoyed it.

Also, you could have discreetly requested she take the photos down (or contacted ebay) without calling her out on your blog, let alone calling her a thief. Bad form.

Sarah - I don't what the heck your, on but Lina isn't the first and won't be the last to report someone to Ebay for image violation. Even the Ebay rules state that any photo's used in your listing must be your own and not anyone else's.

Lina has every right to name and shame, it's her blog.

Sharing is acknowledging that the both person's know what's happening. Stealing is when one person take's another person's belonging without them knowing.

Lina - I hope the seller and Ebay co-operate with you. =)

LMFAOWTF!! Sharing isn't stealing, it's mutual agreement to "share" a thing. This eBay person took her photos without asking. And taking something without asking is STEALING. Did your mom teach you that?

I'm going to refrain from saying what I want to say right now.
